day 03 - Five favorite songs

hmmm i may have to cheat on this one, because my all time fave song is nirvana's 'come as you are', but it's really hard to decided on the next four.

but, if i have to this is what i think...

1. 'come as you are', 'all apologies', 'the man who sold the world', 'D-7' and 'dumb' are all amazing songs by nirvana
2. anything joni mitchell - especially the album 'blue' -  the songs 'blue', 'river' 'a case of you' and 'last time i saw richard' are soo good
3. probs 'skinny love' by bon iver, because ninny showed it to me and i was in a funny place at the time, and so it's got a lot of strong memories attached to it (criiiiinge)
4. some KOL - 'where nobody knows', 'wicker chair', 'day old blues' and 'soft'
5. 'bigmouth strikes again' by the smiths, 'charlotte sometimes' by the cure,'adam's song' by blink 182, oh and 'down', 'silver dagger' performed by fleet foxes, also their 'mykonos', 'ragged woods', 'tiger mountain peasant song', 'english house'....

agh this is a sham of a list, i'm sorry, probably with more time and effort i could cut it down to 5, but ho-hum here is a selection of some music that means a lot to me instead. also i realise most of this stuff is really really moody, but sometimes i think they mean the most even if they make you feel like crap. songs that make you feel something are always good.

agh ridiculously prententious sounding, i'll move on

time to counter balance with my good and bad day:

it was a good day because i only had two lessons today, which is a rare thing for me. i was going to do some work but i ended up in the common room with susy, where we descended into hysteria whilst the fatman was nosing across from the other side of the room, but we gave up on monster watch and it was good in a sort of my-belly-hurts-from laughing. we also had weirdly deep chats at bridgefoot too. though i only got all this free time because i had to do a crazy maths challenge for an hour and a half but i just gave up in the end after 10 questions, hopefully i'll do bad enough to finally be allowed to stop doing the test.
there was a slight down turn in my day when the vending machine took my 85p. i was really thirsty too. but then i realised if that's the worst my day can offer, it's probably not been a bad day at all.

anyway, i feel like this is a collosus post, so i'll leave you with something tasty

it's sort of ironic that he shot himself in the mouth 28 days before i was born. still, omnomnomnom.

that's not time to make a joke like 'must have heard you were on your way' or whatever NOT CLEVER OR FUNNY

now be gone with you.

p.s. i just found £5! i remember hiding it too, for when im broke. thanks forward thinking me
